Question

Avoid Altitude Sickness

Answer

The Lodge at Breckenridge is at 10,200 feet elevation. Altitude sickness is not uncommon for people at this elevation, especially if you are traveling from sea-level or low-elevation. Altitude sickness is dangerous so we ask that you be mindful of the precautions below. -Drink lots of water -Eat plenty of food -Make sure you're getting electrolytes -Go easy on the alcohol -Avoid too strenuous of exercise

Question

Be Safe in the Wilderness

Answer

While you're in Breckenridge, you may see animals like moose, mountain goats, elk and deer, foxes, mountain lions and bears. In most situations, the wildlife is harmless if left alone. To keep you and them safe, don’t approach, chase, follow, surround or feed any wild animals. Always observe from a distance.
