Answer

Garden party, dressy casual. Something you feel lovely in. Florals, shades of nature, groovy, hippie, funk, authentic. Be yourself. The venue is a flower farm, be mindful when selecting your shoes (i.e. the bride will be in vans).

Where should I stay?

Answer

See the "Travel" section for recommendations. The hotel block is a great option. Airbnb can also offer some cute, affordable spots. We will be gathering in downtown Portland for optional parts of the weekend. The wedding is in Scarborough, about fifteen minutes from Portland. If you have any questions or concerns, please let Amy or Ryan know. We want you to feel good about where you are staying and what you are spending!

What is the weather in Maine in August?

GORGEOUS. Rain or shine it is going to be a stunning weekend. Though it is August, we are in the north and by the sea. The air cools down at night. Be prepared with an outer layer and closed toe shoes if you want to be comfy. Also, check the weather before you pack. Know before you go, ya'll.

Cookin' Carol from Mt. Appatite Farm is preparing an incredible buffett assortment of local, homecooked food. We specifically selected dishes to ensure that our people with allergies, sensitivies, and preferences would have sufficient options.
