Pablo Picasso was born in Málaga in 1881 and spent his early childhood here. He wished for his artwork to be displayed in his hometown and so in 2003 the museum was opened thanks to his grandson and daughter-in-law who donated many of the displayed works.
A series of caverns in the town of Nerja which contain the largest stalagmite in the world at 32 meters. The caves are divided into two parts: Nerja I and Nerja II. Access is via flight of stairs and concrete pathways. Guided tours are available, it is recommended to book tickets in advance.
