Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

The wedding is being held at a beautiful hotel surrounded by avocado and olive tree fields outside of the center of Velez-Málaga. Another great option is staying in the town of Nerja which is located 25-30 minutes up the coast from the venue; it is a beautiful coastal town filled with Spanish charm and many different restaurants and things to do.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! The dress-code is black-tie optional. We would love to see our loved ones get dressed up with us to celebrate this special day in our lives. When choosing your footwear please keep in mind that the ceremony and reception areas are both outdoors on cobblestone with gravel pathways between.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). We would love for everyone to be fully present in the moment with us as we say, "I do." We are hiring professionals to capture the moment for us, and we promise to share the photos and videos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

We would love for our guests to enjoy the reception without worrying about transportation. If enough guests are interested, we plan to provide transportation for guests not staying at the venue from the center of Nerja to the venue and back at the end of the night.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the hotel where the wedding is taking place.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony if you are not staying at the hotel to give yourself time to park and find your seat.
