No offense, but if you don't know by now that we met teaching in Guyana, you must be a plus one.
Practice makes perfect! Always, the love was there.
*NERD ALERT* One of our favorite pandemic pastimes was reading a book aloud to each other and then watching the corresponding movie. We started with all seven Harry Potters and then moved on to LOTR. We had just recently finished the Hobbit, in which Bilbo famously has a riddle-off with Golum to get safe passage out of the caves. Sam was reading aloud and asked Sarah all the riddles and she clearly enjoyed it because she loves puzzles and games and being right. So, for Sarah's 33rd birthday, Sam created a bike scavenger hunt around Philly. He created riddles and mapped them out in an app, and Sarah had to solve the riddles to figure out the next location on the bike tour. When we reached the final spot, a message popped up on the screen that said "Congratulations! Smeagol would be proud. There's just one final question for you...What's in my pocket?" Sarah looked up, the answer dawning on her, and answered, "A ring?" (If this reference doesn't make sense to you, find your nearest nerd and ask them to explain.)
