Maid of Honor
Bridget and Quincy have been the best of friends from the first time they stepped foot on the same volleyball court when Quincy was in eighth grade. Having played for the same club teams, their friendship moved beyond the court with weekends away, family parties, and loyally ringing in each New Year together in Vermont. Quincy is also one of Bridget's bridesmaids in her upcoming wedding in May. On occasion, they can still be caught cheering together – TWO BRAS!!
Best Man
Jon is Sam’s younger brother, and whether it be a bedroom, their love of sports, or mutual friends, they have shared everything while growing up. They continue to stay close by getting together to watch football on Sundays, skiing or snowmobiling whenever there is snow, or working together at Regeneron. Because they are so close, they are also experts at pushing each other’s buttons, which always provides endless entertainment for anyone nearby.
Bridesmaid
Andrea and Quincy met in ninth grade on the freshman softball team at Guilderland High School. Ever since then, Andrea has always been known as our Lil’ Labunski. They had many classes together throughout high school. Though college took them on separate paths, they remain the closest of friends. Andrea is now in optometry school and finishing her clinical rotations.
Groomsman
Zak and Sam met while working second shift at Regeneron. They would pass their time together with constant joking, half-priced appetizers at Applebee’s, and nights out in Albany and Troy. Zak and Sam also lived together for a bit, which only deepened their admiration for movies like MacGruber.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Quincy became friends while playing on Guilderland’s Varsity Volleyball Team in eleventh grade. They became extremely close over their last two years of high school and then became college neighbors – Taylor at SUNY Oneonta and Quincy at Hartwick College. Their friendship remains long distance for the moment while Taylor is finishing up her master’s degree in Environmental Science at the University of Utah.
Groomsman
Cole and Sam met during elementary school in Chatham. Growing up, they often played on the same baseball or basketball teams and shared the occasional AP class. They’ve remained close through their mutual love of beer and cooking. They share a lot of memories – the calculus project on Old Pond (calculus class was a different story…) or their many trips to the Chatham Brewery.
Bridesmaid
Malorie and Quincy's friendship has blossomed over the last few years. They met after Malorie and Quincy's cousin, Michael, started dating and eventually became engaged. Quincy had the pleasure of being a bridesmaid in Malorie's wedding just two short years ago and is now the Godmother to one of Malorie's twins, Lincoln. The two now see each other at least once a month at their dedicated Girl's Day.
Groomsman
Billy and Sam have been friends since elementary school. Over the years, they played football, basketball, and, of course, ran track and field. Billy and Sam constantly spent time together after school and over the summers. Frequent trips to Dairy Queen and the movies were always part of the fun.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Quincy’s younger cousin, but their relationship has turned into more that of sisters than cousins. Though they have always been family, their connection has only gotten stronger as they’ve grown older. Katie is now studying to become a nurse (can you tell Quincy is very proud of her???), and they see each other monthly at Girl’s Day.
Groomsman
Though Adam and Sam are cousins, they have grown up more like brothers. Trips to the pool, holiday gatherings, playing video games, or catching a movie, these two have always been in close contact growing up and remain so to this day. After college, Adam and Sam lived together for a bit, when Adam was key in adopting Sam’s two cats – Lily and Davis.
Bridesmaid
Jess and Quincy met at Hartwick College when Quincy participated in Rush Week for the school's sororities. Jess became Quincy's Big in their sorority, Phi Sigma Phi, and instantly, the two made a bond that even 2,942 miles couldn't break. Jess is from and currently resides in Oregon...but that won't stop her from standing by her Little's side!
Groomsman
Nick and Sam met at Western New England University on the football field. When not playing football, they could be found hanging out during engineering study halls or enjoying many Irish car bombs together. As college passed, they remained close through an occasional weekend trip, playing video games, and eventually as roommates while both working in the Capital Region.
Bridesmaid
Andreia and Quincy met toward the end of their Nursing School career at Hartwick College. These two worked on their senior thesis together and became closer than ever! Though it is hard to see each other now, being that they are both full time nurses on opposite schedules, they will each be standing by one another’s side on their big days. Andreia is getting married in June, 2021, a wedding which Quincy will be a bridesmaid.
Groomsman
Steve and Sam also played football together at Western New England University. When off the field, they shared engineering study halls and a love for intramural sports. They stayed connected through video games and the occasional getaway. One getaway they’ll always remember is the terrible car ride to the comic book store.
