Please RSVP via the website as soon as possible, and no later than 31 January, 2025. While we will send out reminders, unfortunately we will not be able to accomodate late RSVP's, as we will need to provide our vendors and venue with an exact guest count by a certain date.
Though it would mean the world to celebrate with you, we understand if you cannot attend! We'd appreciate if you let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make the wedding or one of the included events. To do so, simply navigate to the RSVP tab and select "no" on the relevant events, so that we may plan accordingly.
We STRONGLY recommend you stay in the town of Ravello, to ensure that you can easily walk to the wedding venue and welcome party. Ravello is located at the top of the mountain, it is the highest town along the Amalfi Coast. Please note if you choose to stay outside of Ravello, taxis can be challenging and costly to get. Public transport is also likely to be extremely crowded with tourists, and we would not recommend this as a means of transport to/from the wedding.
Please refer to the 'Accommodation' tab for hotel recommendations.
For any travel inquiries and help booking transfers to and from Amalfi/Ravello, please reach out to our wedding planner, giorgia@lovestoryitaly.com. Our wedding planners work with a professional team of drivers and will help you arrange the best transfers. Additionally, please refer to the 'Travel' tab of our website for more information.
It appears that the ETIAS Italy visa has been delayed. It is expected to be put into effect sometime mid-2025, and is looking UNLIKELY to be required for our wedding! Once it is in officially announced, all visitors from the US/UK/Australia will need to obtain an ETIAS Italy visa ahead of travel. You will be able to quickly apply for the visa here: https://www.etiasitaly.com/etias-application. Please select your country of citizenship from the dropdown menu. You will be asked to provide personal information and passport details. This should only take a few minutes, and most visas will be granted within 72 hours. This visa will be automatically linked to your passport.
The 6-month passport rule states that your passport must be valid for at least a further six months before you depart for international travel.
Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accomodate those specifically listed on your invitation.
Although we love your little ones, we intend to keep this is an adults-only celebration (with exceptional arrangements for our immediate family/wedding party). If you require babysitting services, please let us know.
The weather in Ravello during May/June averages from 70°F - 80°F (22°C - 27°C). Summer attire would be advised, with an optional wrap or jacket as we will be located cliffside which may bring a cool breeze in the evenings.
The dress code for our welcome party is "Italian Riviera" and we'd encourage colourful dresses or linen (outfit inspo: https://pin.it/6y4XEteSI). This event will be held on a hotel rooftop. The wedding dress code is Black Tie (outfit inspo: https://pin.it/6CcM4PWST). For men we recommend tuxes or black suits, and for women, elegant evening dresses. In regards to footwear, please keep in mind that the ceremony will be held outdoors in the gardens, though there are paved walkways throughout the property and for dancing and dinner. Please note there will be some stairs to navigate on your way to the venue. We will also have a shoe check available if you wish to change your shoes upon arrival!
Yes, both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Villa Eva in Ravello.
We will not be providing transportation, as all hotels in Ravello are a 5-15 minutes walk from Villa Eva! There are numerous signs directing you towards the Villa from town centre, and it is easily visible as the highest point in town (and along the Amalfi Coast!). We recommend you confirm your walking directions ahead of the wedding day. If you choose to stay outside of Ravello, cabs and public transport can involve wait times. Please ensure you have arranged your ride to/from the venue ahead of time to not risk missing the ceremony. Please reach out to our wedding planners at giorgia@lovestoryitaly.com for any questions.
The ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Guests will be asked to gather at Hotel Villa Maria located directly across from the venue, 20 minutes ahead of the ceremony. Our wedding planning team will be there to greet you, and escort guests into the venue.
Outdoor! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be held on the Villa grounds, in fully or partially outdoor spaces.
Delicious food is an essential part of the Italian experience! Please let us know of your dietary restrictions in the RSVP section of our website.
While our ceremony will begin "unplugged," our officiant will let you know when everyone can begin taking photos and videos following the vows!
Welcome drinks will be held at Hotel Bonadies in Ravello at 6pm on 30, May 2025. This hotel is an easy 5-10 minute walk from all local hotels. For guests joining the post-wedding event, a shuttle will be provided. Pick up will be at 11am in the town centre on 1 June, 2025, with location details updated closer to the time.
We will not be formalising any plans ahead of our welcome night in Ravello on 30th of May. However we encourage you to enjoy the Amalfi Coast yourselves, and to reach out to our wedding planners at giorgia@lovestoryitaly.com for any recommendations on surrounding towns, restaurants, hotels and attractions!
Along with the Amalfi Coast's dramatic cliffs does come the inevitability of stairs! Fortunately there are only several flights of stairs required to reach our venue. Throughout the coast and in Ravello, it is often possible to arrange a porter from your hotel to fetch your bags for you. Please reach out to our wedding planners at giorgia@lovestoryitaly.com if this is a concern for you!
While contactless pay is largely available in the area, we recommend having both a widely accepted credit card (i.e. Visa/Mastercard), and some euros on hand for any cash payments.
You can navigate this area quite easily using English! This is a high-tourism region, and as such English is widely spoken.
