Megan and Sam met at Iowa State during their freshman year of college in 2020. They were fast friends and spent most of their time cheering for the Cyclones and studying together. Sam and Megan began dating in 2023, and spent Sam's senior year studying in Sweeney Hall and enjoying late night ice cream dates as a study break. Sam happily graduated in 2024, and got a job in Des Moines! After a year of school and work, and long commute dates, Sam proposed to Megan on July 4, 2025! Megan will graduate in Spring 2026, but Sam has always been her cheerleader and is supporting her as she finishes. They look forward to starting the next chapter of their lives together and tying the knot in June 2026!
