It’s famous for its historic Stockyards, world-class museums, lively entertainment districts, and authentic Texas hospitality. Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS), is one of the largest seminaries in the world, founded in 1908, upholds a commitment to biblical teaching, evangelism, and church leadership.​ It has an exhibition titled "Step into Lottie's House" with a glimpse into the life of Lottie Moon, a pioneering Southern Baptist missionary to China, near Qingdao, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Gambrell Street Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of faith and community since its establishment in 1915. Dr. Jim Spivey has served as the pastor since 2013.The church is situated at the corner of West Gambrell Street and James Avenue, across from the seminary.The wedding will be held here and officiated by Pastor Spivey.

Gambrell Street Baptist Church, the venue for the wedding, is located 28 miles from DFW Airport—about a 40-minute drive—and 260 miles from Houston’s Chinatown, roughly a 4-hour drive. The wedding will take place at the church in two parts: the ceremony from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by the reception meal from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The church is situated directly across from the beautiful campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary on James Avenue. Within a 5-minute walk, you can access most areas of the seminary. The on-campus hotel, Ray I. Riley Center, is conveniently located nearby.
