Every great love story has its beginning, and ours is no different. We met in Akron, Ohio, where we both lived in the same apartment complex. Our first encounter happened while we were out walking our dogs, and it didn’t take long before we became best friends. Over the next few months, our friendship deepened, and our feelings for each other grew. On May 28, 2017, we made it official and started our journey as a couple. From our first date to the many adventures we’ve shared since, our relationship has been filled with laughter, joy, and love. The first year, spent long-distance, only strengthened our bond as we made the most of every moment we had together. Over the years, we’ve built a life we’re incredibly proud of—buying our first cars, purchasing our home, adding a new furry family member, and even working alongside each other in our careers. Each milestone has brought us closer, and every new chapter in our lives is a reminder of how blessed we are to be sharing this journey together. The Proposal On November 11, 2024, Sam got down on one knee on the stunning island of Maui, Hawaii. Surrounded by many of our closest friends, he proposed as the sun set, and we celebrated the moment with a traditional Hawaiian luau.
