Ceremony, Reception, and Everything in Between

4:30 pm - 10:30 pm

This event is cocktail attire. Please be sure to check Golden weather before travel, as Colorado weather is incredibly difficult to predict and the Ceremony will be outdoors. It could be 85 degrees, it could be snowing. You really never know!

In addition, Dress Blue Alphas with blue trousers (or equivalent) are optional for this event for those not in the wedding party or sword arch. If you would like to wear your uniform for the ceremony but want to change into something more comfortable for the rest of the evening, the locker room will be available for you to change over and leave your blues. There will be appetizers in addition to cocktails. The main course options are Chicken Saltimbocca, Braised Beef Short Ribs, and Manicotti. The meat options will be served with a side of brussel sprouts and orzo. We are so very excited to celebrate with everyone and to have the opportunity to get our family and our Marine Corps family all in one place!

Say Hey at the House!

Informal - wear something comfy!

This is going to be a super informal, not at all mandatory, opportunity for our out-of-town guests to come hang out at the Wardell's house in Arvada, CO before flying home. There will be snack-type brunch foods, maybe ribs if Rick feels like it. Mimosas, obviously Bloody Marys, who knows! Come for part of it or all of it to grab some food before your journey home. Please note that the cross-eyed cat and two velcro dogs are permanent fixtures in the residence so if you have allergies, maybe take some allergen medication. Technique only.
