We will be providing shuttle services to and from the wedding venue to make your travel easier! Pick-up time: 2:45pm Return shuttles: Throughout the evening We will be picking up and dropping off guests in: - Vineyard Haven - Edgartown Important: Please share the address of where you'll be staying so we can arrange convenient pick-up / drop-off locations for everyone.
Travel Note
While the island does have an airport, the most common way to travel is by ferry. Ferry Routes: 1. From Boston Area - Take Steamship Authority from Woods Hole, MA, to either the Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs Terminal. This ferry accommodates both cars and passengers. Tip: Passenger tickets don’t need to be reserved in advance, but we strongly recommend booking car reservations as early as possible. Car reservations for October 2026 will open in January 2026. 2. From Connecticut & Rhode Island: Passenger-only ferries are available from New Bedford, MA, and Quonset, RI.
Hotel
The Mansion House is just a 5-minute walk from the Vineyard Haven ferry terminal, located next to shops and many restaurants and cafe's. If you choose to stay here, we recommend booking your ferry ticket to Vineyard Haven (not Oak Bluffs, which is a 10-minute drive away). Shuttle transportation to and from the wedding will be provided.
Hotel
The Franklin Hotel is a short walk to downtown Edgartown and close to all of the shops & restaurants nearby! Shuttle transportation to and from the wedding will be provided.
House Or Rental
Airbnb and VRBO offer great home rental options for groups across the island. If you choose to rent a home, you’ll need to arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding—or you’re welcome to join our shuttle service from one of the designated pickup locations.
