Flight
The closest and most convenient airport to fly into, ~15min from downtown Burlington and the wedding. Other airport options all require >1.5hr drive.
Train
Amtrak offers two daily trains to Vermont from NYC. The Ethan Allen Express is the faster more direct route through the Hudson Valley.

Amtrak offers two daily trains to Vermont. The Vermonter starts in Washington DC, and goes through Philadelphia, NYC, and eventually meanders through the Green Mountains of Vermont terminating in Essex Junction, VT just outside Burlington, VT (you'll need a cab or Uber to get into Burlington). This is the longer but more scenic train route to Burlington from points south.
Travel Note
Uber and Lyft exist in Burlington, but basically disappear early in the morning and once you get outside of Burlington. Always good to allow extra time, or call normal taxi when catching early flights.

GreenCab has always been a reliable taxi company in the area if you can schedule ahead. They are a good option when you need an early morning ride to the airport.
