Andrew + Samantha

In late 2019 Andrew was managing the bar at The Stubborn Goat Gastro Pub in Halifax, while Samantha was a regular performer there on the weekends singing her heart out. 

One Saturday night before Sam was about to start her set she decided to grab herself a drink. 

She headed over to the bar to ask the bartender (Andrew) if the previous bartender who had made her a cocktail the weekend before was working. Andrew was not about to find this other bartender for Sam so he followed up with  "I can make a better cocktail than him for you, do you trust me?" He was definitely being cheeky but I think deep down he believed what he was saying. Little did they know Sam was about to trust him with her whole entire world a year from that night. 

A year went by and Andrew's persistency paid off and Sam's sure glad it did.
