Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, please! We would appreciate if you could RSVP by June 1st, 2025. This will ensure that every guest has a place to sit, as well as a meal that they pre-selected from the invitation.

Where will the wedding ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Links at Brunello. The golf course is located at: 20 Brunello Blvd Timberlea, NS B3T 0J4

Are there any accommodations nearby?

Answer

A block to 30 rooms has been reserved for our guests with a discounted rate of $289.00/night (plus applicable taxes) at the stunning, five star, Halifax Tower Hotel and Conference Centre conveniently located at: 15 Lakelands Blvd Beechville, NS B3S 1G4 To book a room and obtain this special rate, please contact the hotel directly at 902-444-3700 prior to June 5, 2025 and mention the Power/Bridson Wedding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal - but do not hesitate to dress up as much as you'd like! we love a good party in heels & suits ;)

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love all the little ones, due to capacity of the venue, our children, nieces, and nephews will be the only children in attendance.

Can I take photos/videos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We would love all our guests to be present and share in the moment with us, and we ask that you refrain from taking any photos/videos with your devices; cell phones, cameras etc. We will have a photographer and content creator there to capture it all, and cannot wait to share the moment with everyone. xo

Where can I park my car?

Answer

The golf course will still be open for members on our wedding day, but there is ample parking available to accommodate our wedding guests as well. The Halifax Tower Hotel also has free parking included in guest room bookings.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be take place outside, weather permitting, close to the Pavilion where our reception will be held inside. There will be a cocktail hour following the ceremony at the outdoor terrace area of the clubhouse, right next to the Pavilion. A dear friend of ours is a very talented musician and will be playing an acoustic guitar set during the cocktail hour, where guests will have access to the cash bar and light snacks while we take photos with our family.
