CHO is the closest airport and is about a ~25 minute drive to downtown Charlottesville. Direct flights in and out of CHO include: Atlanta, Chicago (ORD), Charlotte, New York (LGA), and Washington D.C. (IAD).

RIC is a 1-hour and 15 minute drive to Charlottesville and offers many more direct options when compared to CHO.

Reagan is another option of an airport to fly into and is about a two and a half hour drive from Arlington to Charlottesville. Reagan is another option of an airport that offers a few more direct flights.

Rental Cars

We recommend renting a car while in Charlottesville so you can explore all that the town has to offer! Of course there are Ubers/Lyfts, but sometimes the wait time for an Uber/Lyft is long depending on where you are in Charlottesville. Fortunately, all events are relatively close to one another so it shouldn't be too hard to find an Uber/Lyft.
