While we love seeing as many family and friends as possible, we are keeping up with current state and venue regulations, which currently include capacity limitations. With that, please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation. We will continue to monitor these limitations as we get closer to the big day and hope to celebrate with as many loved ones as possible.
The wedding and reception are currently planned as 21-and-over events.
While we will be wearing our best wedding attire, this is a completely outdoor event during the Fall season. Please plan clothing and footwear accordingly. We are hoping for a beautiful autumn day, but there are no guarantees!
Both the ceremony and reception will be "unplugged" events. What does this mean? We ask guests to please leave their phones in the car or silenced in your pocket. We have an awesome photographer planned, who we trust to capture all of the big moments. We ask that guests refrain from taking pictures/videos, as phones will merely take away from the beauty of the mountain surroundings (and cannot be edited out of our professional photos).
Since we encourage guests to make the most of the Adirondack region and find unique rental properties, we assume all guests will not be staying in one place. As a result, we do not have a formal shuttle planned for the wedding day. We ask guests to please plan according and drive responsibly.
The Adirondacks are a largely remote area, which means there are many areas where you will have unreliable service or no service at all. This includes at the wedding venue. Please plan ahead and accordingly. Side note - The Keene area does have a Verizon tower, which provides an OK signal before reaching the venue.
BBQ! If you're a messy eater, choose your attire wisely.
