Kris and Sam met in high school through mutual friends when Kris was a Junior and Sam was a Freshman. They spent two years as friends, hanging out until Kris decided to ask Sam to prom. After going to prom together, Kris went off to college while Sam finished up high school. The two stayed in touch throughout with Sam attending a few of Kris' Fisher Football Games along the way. Sam's senior year, she asked Kris to come to prom with her to which he *reluctantly* agreed. Two days after prom, Kris and Sam officially started dating. The two were both going to college in Rochester and lived in Fairport for most of their college careers. Before Sam's senior year, the pair adopted their lovely border collie-basset hound mix, Sadie. She made a great addition to their little family. After a few years of apartment living, Kris and Sam decided to purchase their first house in Chili. Shortly after, they brought home Ace the stabyhoun. The next summer after 7 years together, Kris proposed to Sam at their house with a cookie cake message and Sam said yes.
