Great question! Each guest in your party needs to be registered individually. This helps us gather important details, like dietary restrictions, to ensure everyone has the best experience possible. Thank you for your understanding!
We want to ensure plenty of time to plan and save for this trip as we know this isn't your standard wedding. Please RSVP and pay for your stay no later than 12/31/2024. Simply scan the QR code on your Save The Date to RSVP. If you misplace your Save The Date please copy and paste the below link into your web browser: https://beyulretreat.secure.retreat.guru/program/david-and-samies-wedding-weekend/?lang=en Once you have paid you are officially registered! If you have any questions throughout this process please contact Samie or David.
It is $659.08 per person (inclusive of tax and credit card processing fees). If you do the math, that is $220 a night and includes your meals, beverages and entertainment! We understand that this is a monetary commitment and may be a limiting factor for our guests and do not want anyone to feel pressured. You will still be in our lives whether or not you can attend our wedding. If you choose to join us for our special weekend, we want to say thank you in advance for giving us the gift of your time and presence. We can't wait to see everyone in person! Please check out the "What's included in the cost" question to learn more.
Think of this as an all-inclusive mountain retreat, the cost to stay includes the following: - (4) days and (3) nights of lodging - (2) meals a-day: Brunch & Dinner - Beverages throughout the day + open bars for evening functions - Early morning breakfast snacks - Yoga, hiking, hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, paddle boards, and a field day - Nature and beautiful views - A wedding (of course!!) - Good vibes, great people, and smiles all around
Cancellations will be accepted for a full refund as long as you cancel on/before April 16th, 2025. This helps us manage a consistent cost per person while still giving guests ample time to decide if these arrangements work for their schedules. Another way to help ease any concerns is to consider purchasing Travel Insurance. Travel insurance companies like Travel Guard and Trawick offer policies that ensure your investment in case you need to cancel (including "cancel for any reason" coverage), coverages for expenses incurred due to weather & travel delays, personal property loss, and emergency travel medical. Please review policies carefully to choose the range of coverage you need. You are able to cancel after April 16th, 2025, but unfortunately, will not be issued a refund.
While we love all the children in our lives, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them at our venue due to a limited guest count. Thank you so much for understanding and we hope you can use this weekend as getaway and come back refreshed/relaxed :)
The million dollar question! Once you register we will begin creating a housing chart to ensure everyone has comfortable sleeping arrangements. We will organize housing based on your family/friend group and will do our best to keep those groups together. After our cancellation time frame ends we will begin the housing chart and will share exactly where you will be staying so there are no surprises upon arrival. Trust us we do not take this responsibility lightly. :)
One of the reasons we chose Beyul Retreat and this type of stay for our wedding is so that guests don't have to do any extra driving or traveling to get entertainment between events. Everything you will need for the weekend will be right at your fingertips. Below is a list of included activities and upgraded activities: Included: - Hiking - Guided land tour - Paddle boarding - Hot tub/sauna/cold plunge - Yoga Upgraded Activities: - Fly fishing - Horseback riding - Rock Climbing - Mountain biking - Take a short drive to Ruedi Reservoir and rent a boat or sailboat for the day - For more details check out their website: https://beyulretreat.com/activities-adventures
We chose this location due to how remote it is! We invite our guests to be present with us and to unplug from the outside world for this special weekend (we certainly will not have our phones on us). However, if you need to take care of a work emergency, chat to a partner/family member, or whatever else you may need to do there is WIFI available in the main lodge 24/7. Cell service is hit or miss depending on your carrier.
Friday - check-in has no dress code, your comfy travel clothes are perfect! For the Welcome Dinner Friday evening please dress in "dressy casual" attire. Saturday (before the wedding) - comfy clothes to hang out or explore the property in. Saturday (wedding time!!!) - the dress code for our wedding day is "Funky Formal" - yes, you heard that right! Funky Formal simply means, wear something with some flare while keeping it classy - funky patterns (paisley, houndstooth, retro, etc), funky materials (furs, velvet, corduroy, etc.), and bright colors. While we cherish our athleisure/laid-back attire we ask that you please don't wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, etc. Check out the "Gallery" tab for a style guide! Please note: we want everyone to look/feel their best and if funky formal is out of your comfort zone that is okay, we just ask that you dress in a semi-formal attire! Sunday - whatever your heart desires during the day and casual attire for the farewell dinner.
Quick packing list at your service: Misc items: - Toiletry Bag (be sure to include sunscreen, lotion and chapstick to help with the elevation) - Hat - Sunglasses - Comfortable closed-toe shoes for exploring the property - Swimsuit Friday: - Athleisure/comfy clothes for travel - Dressy-Casual outfit for dinner (nice pair of pants/skirt with blouse/button down shirt or dress) - Jacket/coat for the evening Saturday: - Athleisure /comfy clothes for yoga, hiking, hanging around - Funky Formal/Semi-Formal attire for the wedding - Jacket/coat for the evening Sunday: - Athleisure/comfy outfit for yoga, hiking, field day, hanging around - Casual outfit for dinner - Jacket/coat for the evening Monday: - Athleisure/comfy clothes for travel day
We are SO glad that you asked!! We have done this drive so many times it is hard to count and it truly never gets old. Below are some of our favorite spots to stop along the way for food, photos, or just to be amazed by nature's beauty: 1. Idaho Springs - great place to stretch your legs and grab a quick bite to eat. We highly recommend checking out Westbound & Down Brewery and the local shops in town. 2. Eisenhower Tunnel - you have no choice but to enjoy this engineering marvel! 3. Frisco/Dillon Reservoir - beautiful lake right off 70. Off the Frisco exit you can drive an additional 30 minutes to check out Breckenridge Resort or Keystone Resort. 4. Vail Village - check out the beautiful/world famous village without all the hub bub of the winter months! 5. Glenwood Canyon - truly a jaw dropping view from the highway with multiple turnouts for photos. 6. Glenwood Springs - be sure to check out Glennwood Hot Springs if you have an extra hour to spare. 7. Basalt - last chance to pick-up any snacks or beverages that you would like to keep in your cabin throughout the week. Our #1 recommendation if you have extra time to kill: 1. Maroon Bells - 1 hour from Beyul with countless breathtaking hikes.
The average temperature is a high of 80º F during the day and can get down into the low 40's at night. We HIGHLY recommend bringing a jacket for all night time events, once the sun goes down it gets rather brisk in the mountains!
The elevation of Beyul is 8,300 ft! Elevation is no joke and is not something to take lightly. Our biggest piece of advice is WATER, WATER, WATER. There are hydration packets that you can buy to put in your water to help accelerate your hydration, our favorite is sugar-free Liquid IV. You can buy Liquid IV at just about any grocery store, Target, Walmart, or Amazon. Please be careful of how much alcohol you drink at elevation, it will affect you much quicker than you are used to so please pace yourself and drink water throughout. :)
Yes, of course! If you're a constant snacker like Samie & Rigby feel free to bring your favorite granola bars, munchies, soda water, your favorite beer/wine, etc. You can enjoy these from the comfort of your room or cabin or hiking trail. All we ask if that you don't bring any of these items to any wedding related events (dinners, brunches, reception, ceremony, etc.) as we already have you covered!
Yes! We understand that people wake up early and an 11am brunch might just be too late to keep the hanger at bay. To make sure all of our guests are well fed we will have muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal placed in the lodge every morning. Outside of this early morning offering, Beyul has a fully stocked bodega that you can charge to your room. This bodega has snacks, breakfast items, fruits, wine, beer, etc. all for your convenience!
Due to the registration platform/process we are unable to offer per-day pricing or discounts for a shortened stay. We are really hoping that having Monday off for Labor Day will allow our guests to stay for the full duration of the weekend.
