Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Farhanah Mohammad and Samer Manal
We’re planning a 3 day trip post-wedding adventure on 9, 10 and 11 August to Wadi Rum, Petra, and the Dead Sea because it would be criminal to come all the way to Jordan and not experience its greatest hits. Day 1: Travel to Petra from Amman (full day) then head to Wadi Rum Day 2: Bubble Glamping overnight at Wadi Rum, 2 hours Jeep ride Day 3: Stay at Holiday Inn Dead Sea, head to the Dead Sea, Hot Springs and back to Amman. Worldly desert landscapes straight out of a movie, walking through the iconic rose-red city of Petra like you’re in Indiana Jones, and floating effortlessly in the Dead Sea while questioning gravity and your life choices. Expect breathtaking views, legendary photos, mildly dramatic levels of walking, and very sore legs, all 100% worth it. If this sounds like your kind of fun (and it absolutely should), let us know if you’d like to join so we can make arrangements and make sure no one gets left behind in the desert!

Petra

Wadi Musa, Ma'an Governorate, Jordan

Petra is an ancient city in southern Jordan, famous for its stunning rock-cut architecture carved directly into rose-red sandstone cliffs, earning it the nickname "Rose City". Once a thriving trade hub for the Nabataean kingdom, it features iconic structures like Al-Khazneh (the Treasury) and Ad Deir (the Monastery). Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Petra is Jordan's most popular tourist attraction, showcasing incredible engineering and artistic skill.
