An El Paso thing for over 70 years! Have a single or a double with a side of fries. Don’t forget to throw some fries in the sauce. You’ll either love it or hate it, but either way, you’ll experience a little bit of an El Paso tradition. The only thing is that they only take cash, no card payment.

This is a nice hangout spot for pretty much anyone. You can play ping pong, chess, horseshoes, have some local snacks, and enjoy some original old El Paso buildings. This is in downtown El Paso, just a few blocks away from the border. Don’t worry, it’s totally safe.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t help visiting zoos anywhere!
About 2 hours east of El Paso, we find these beautiful underground caverns. Here you’ll see mineral formations in the caves and the largest chamber in North America. Since it goes over 800ft underground, it does get chilly inside. They do require a time reservation before attending, but this can be done on the morning of the visit on most days.
About 1 hour and 30 minutes from El Paso you’ll find these white gypsum dunes. The white sand in this national park may blind you by reflecting the sunshine, so pack sunglasses and sun block.
If you’d like some more hiking and seeing more of our local wildlife head here. There’s a good amount of trails to find here. Find some peace and tranquility here.
This is one of our oldest local parks, featuring a man-made lake. This is really close to the border so you can catch a glimpse of Ciudad Juárez in Mexico. Perfect place to come with the kiddos for some family fun. There’s playgrounds, trails, fishing, tennis courts, basketball courts, and pedal boats. Open everyday.
Get a glimpse of the colorful Mexican culture while enjoying Mexican food. If you come here I recommend you try pozole (or menudo if you’re one that dives head first) and tamales. You won’t regret it.
In time for fall season, we have a corn maze. Perfect for family fun, games, food, and pumpkin patches.
Coffee, pastries, breakfast, brunch. Want some good food, this is the place.
