Matron of Honor
Samantha's older sister, best friend, and love of her life. They met at an early age of birth and really started hitting it off in college at the University of Arizona. These sisters would stay up late watching movies at Ciera's house when she would save Samantha from her crazy dorm mates in Coronado and spread salsa ranch on everything in site at Choice Greens. Samantha could not think of a more perfect Matron of Honor to stand by her side.
Bridesmaid
Samantha's younger sister Shannon is Bridesmaid Numero Uno! They used to share a room together back in the day and like to "share" each other's clothes (always asking before taking of course ;)). Shannon is the life of the party and is really going to make sure everyone is having a good time and dancing the night away at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Mindy da Moo and Samantha met in 4th grade at SSJ and became fast friends because Mindy liked Samantha's purple sparkly shoes. The love has grown so much since that special day. They have played volleyball, softball and kickball together and ran multiple half marathons over the years. Workout buddy galore, Mindy is always down for a sweat and she will be smiling while she's doing it! Samantha could not think of a close friend that is like a sister to have by her side on her wedding day.
Bridesmaid
SAK (Sarah Ann Krietor) and Samantha met in middle school at Meadows and ended up playing years of volleyball together into high school, traveling all over Thailand and Cambodia and living in San Diego together as well. Sarah is the kind of friend you want in a pickle because she is open and honest and always there when you need her the most. Sarah is always down for a hike, brunch or a mix of the two and Samantha can not wait to have her by her side at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
RIVKA! These chicks met in middle school at Meadows and have been a solid pair through high school at Sunnyslope and in college at the University of Arizona! Bear Down! Becca and Sam both have a passion for health and fitness and Becca is one of the best workout buddies ever. She is (or was ;)) dedicated to 5am workouts in high school and college after those long nights out on the town. Now she is a talented and knowledgable registered dietitian nutritionist with the best recipes at the drop of a hat. Even though Becca moved across the country they have stayed in each others lives and Samantha can't wait to have her by her side on her big day.
Bridesmaid
Anyone who has met Alexis is familiar with her positive personality and loving spirit. From handmade jewelry to hair and makeup designs and calligraphy, anything she touches is no doubt off the charts. Alexis and Samantha met in high school at Sunnyslope and bonded over throwing burritos during lunch at each other. Alexis is such a joy to be around and brightens every room she enters. Samantha knows she can rely on Alexis for anything and is pumped to have her energy and excitement on her wedding day.

Best Man
James and Walker met during their first week at the University of North Carolina when they were grouped together in the same scholarship cohort. They became best friends throughout college and after graduation during James’ constant globetrotting across the US, Canada, and Ireland. He’s a talented musician and footballer as well as a keen observer of culture and politics, and his taste in haute cuisine appears to be expanding beyond pizza and French fries.
Groomsman
Anyone who knows Eli is familiar with his magnetic personality, adventurous spirit, and many artistic and athletic talents. He cuts a dashing profile, and in the midst of all that it might be easy to overlook what an honest, kind, and generous friend he is. Walker never does. It was a tremendous honor for Walker to serve as a groomsman in Eli’s wedding last year, and Walker is thrilled that Eli can be here for his own.
Groomsman
Andy and Walker met at Sunnyslope High School and have been friends ever since. He’s a serious film buff and historian, and a guy who is always a pleasure to have around. Put it this way: he’s the type of friend who is always up for seeing any movie you want – even if it’s a bad one. Just don’t get him started on the Roman Empire or the Peloponnesian War unless you’ve really done your homework.
Groomsman
When downtown Phoenix was really starting to take off, Keith was its unofficial mayor, and Walker had the good fortune to live next door to his official residence. Their friendship grew along with the city, and even though Keith has since moved to Richmond, Virginia, they are still close. Keith is a renaissance man: a world traveler, accomplished photographer, and coffee connoisseur. And don’t let his shy demeanor fool you: this is a man who knows everybody.
Groomsman
These two met as pick and roll partners in the rec center gymnasiums of UNC. From the opening tip, they displayed a rare on-court chemistry, and they became fast friends off the court as well. Yes, everyone knows they have both been diagnosed with the same severe case of the basketball jones, but even if Ben couldn’t block shots like Mutombo or step outside to stroke the 3-ball, Walker would still want him here as a groomsman.
Groomsman
Walker met John, another Sunnyslope Viking, in math class their freshman year of high school. After graduation, they founded the popular annual Porkathlon event and traveled the world together. They both love to cook and eat. Even though John is a gourmet chef, he treats Walker as though he is a little better in the kitchen than he actually is - which Walker finds very flattering.

Ring Bearer
Bribed with some candy this young man will get his important job of carrying the rings down the aisle done in a flash!
Love Historian
When Walker and Samantha first met in Student Council, James was there. He was a best friend to Walker and a protector of Freshman to Sam. From trips to Bear Flat to doubles sand volleyball, no one knows their story better than James. He is an award-winning speaker and a mentor to other teachers and a Sunny Slope Viking through and through. We have the honor and privilege to call James one of our oldest friends as a couple. He will be sharing with our guests our love story before the ceremony and we are so thankful to have him in our lives.
