Maid of Honor
Christine is Sam's younger sister and they have been through thick and thin together! She currently lives in Austin, Texas and loves showing Sam around all the cool places! They enjoy trying new restaurants together and walking around downtown. Even though Sam and Christine are total opposites, they bond together over their faith and love of travel! Sam and Christine both love to travel and hope to take a trip together soon!
Mark
Best Man
Tom and Mark first met whilst they were undertaking post-graduate studies at the University of Bradford. They both bonded very quickly sharing their love of sophisticated drinking and dining establishments. Fast forward ten years, Tom and Mark reunited over cocktails and a discussion over Brexit. In quick succession they rediscovered their old bonds and formed new ones including a passion for travel and AvGeeking. Mark moved with his wife Bella to New York and Tom made a point of stopping over during numerous trips to the US. Whenever Mark was in London, they would always plan a meet up at their favourite dining spot: Smith and Wollensky’s.
Armen
Groomsman
Armen was Tom’s former VP at LogMeIn. They first met over the phone when Armen first interviewed Tom for a sales role. Fast forward several years and the LogMeIn London office became a brotherhood. At the time both Armen and Tom lived in Fulham and would meet up for Middle Eastern or upscale Indian food. Armen went back to Boston in 2013 and when Tom left the company in 2015, he decided to tack on a trip to Boston. Armen and Tom had an amazing weekend touring the Revolutionary War sites of Concord and Lexington. Tom stayed with Armen and his family on subsequent annual trips and forming many great memories including a live Pats game in sub-zero temperatures, a tour of the Harpoon Brewery and surviving a climb up the Bunker Hill Monument.
Ian
Groomsman
Awesome write up, as written by Ian: Tom and I met exactly 10 years ago. He was at LogMeIn's London Office, and I was at their Dublin one. I'd heard through the grapevine that Tom was a character, and I was intrigued when his office came over for a visit. Well, that first night out in Dublin ended up with us squabbling over a girl, but we woke up the next day laughing about it and the rest is history. We travelled to Istanbul later that year and got, what I still amount to, as literally beat-up by a humongous masseur in a Turkish bathhouse. He flew out to Italy the following year to attend my wedding with unbridled enthusiasm. I then learned that Tom's friendship knew no bounds, as even though we moved to the States, things didn't slow down. He came out to Boston and stayed with my wife Fra and I numerous times with side trips to pubs in Vermont, country music in Nashville, and emergency rooms (I mean camping) in Maine. It's been a blast so far, and only seems like it's going to get better. This spring we met the wonderful Sam and somehow managed to get lost in the Berkshires for four hours. I really can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans the four of us will get into in the years to come.
Jac

Tom and Jac have been friends and family since Jac was born. Over many family gatherings over the years Tom and Jac would bond over games, beer and family songs, Fields of Athenry being the most popularly sung, particularly favoured by Jac’s dad who would add excellent backup vocals. Over the years and many family events as everyone was coming of age the bonds of family and life experience would grow stronger. Jac and Tom also would meet in Central London sharing a common love of beer and real ale. Tom is very excited to be travelling Jac from the Bachelor Party down to Austin and showing him what the best of Texas has to offer.
Jesus

Tom and Jesús met through Sam as Jesús was a fellow Alumni of hers. Being the only two men in the group and both having a rather esoteric sense of humour they bonded quickly and always looked forward to meeting each other at the wider meet ups of Sam’s circle of friends and Sorority Sisters. Feeling that Jesús would fit in perfectly into his circle of friends, Tom was honoured to ask Jesús to be a Groomsman outside of a Frozen Yogurt establishment in 2022.
Jonathan "Jonty"
Groomsman
Tom met Jonty through Jonty’s now wife Laura when Tom and Laura were reading Law at the University of Liverpool. Since graduation Tom visited Liverpool many times, and on one trip Tom and Jonty had a slightly inebriated “intense intellectual discussion,” as Laura would describe it, on Urban Dictionary. Over the years the three of them would do multiple little trips outside of the Merseyside area, particularly to Betws-y-Coed in North Wales where on one trip Sam was able to come. The nickname “Jonty” was coined on a slightly raucous night out in Liverpool by another Laura, who decided we were all rather posh for ending the evening at a hotel bar drinking Prosecco.
Kailey

Kailey and Sam are cousins only six months apart! Over the years Kailey and Sam have had many firsts together. They took driving lessons where the instructor fell asleep when they did their first practice on the high way (YIKES, he was old!), their first job at Six Flags Fiesta Texas making funnel cakes, hiking, camping, and many more! Kailey has lived in San Antonio and her and Sam would meet up once a week to catch up and find new foodie places around town! She currently lives in New Braunfels and Sam is going to miss having her just around the corner!
Katie

Sam and Katie met in Doha, Qatar at the American School of Doha. They quickly became friends and shared their love of music, hanging out by the pool, and going to the mall. Sam and Katie were in Arabic class together and were constantly getting away with laughing in the back of the classroom. Sam and Katie also enjoyed going to the beach/corniche and staying up until sunrise just talking! Katie now lives in Houston with her husband Aamir and their son Hadi!
Maegen
Bridesmaid
Maegen and Sam met as roommates their first year at St. Mary's University. They quickly became close friends and did almost everything together! Maegen was in the Music Department and Sam in the Math Department however, they were able to take some core classes together! They made trips to Panhandle, Texas where Maegen is from along with Beth, Maegen's sister, for Easter and Thanksgiving to visit their family! Maegen and Beth's family welcomed Sam with open arms while Sam's family was still in Saudi Arabia. They enjoyed cruising at night on loop 410, going to hookah, and bowling! Sam and Maegen still try to visit each other as frequently as possible as Maegen is now living in Amarillo, Texas with her daughter, Coraline.
Mikey

Mikey and Sam have known each other since Sam and her family moved to Kingswells, Scotland. Mikey and Sam's moms went to high school together in Stavanger, Norway and re-met when the Hubbards moved to Scotland. A few years later, Sam moved two houses down from Mikey and from then on Sam, Christine, Mikey, and Alex (Mikey's brother) were inseparable. They spent summer nights playing on the trampoline, slip and slide, kirby, and in the field behind their house. In the winter they would build igloos and snowmen and have sleepovers all weekend! Sam and Mikey have visited over the years back and forth between Texas and Scotland and share their love of the NBA team, the San Antonio Spurs. Mikey currently lives in Edinburgh with his girlfriend Charlotte, whom Sam and Tom love to visit by train as much as possible!
Nadine

Nadine and Sam met in Saudi Arabia their senior year of high school at Dhahran Academy. Their moms had been put in contact so that Nadine could reach out to the new girl and they have been friends ever since! In Saudi they enjoyed going to the mall, beach, and having themed nights and even did an ICONIC 80s photoshoot! In recent years, Nadine visited Sam in Texas while she was doing an internship in Dallas and Sam has visited Nadine in Toronto where she is currently living. They try to visit as often as possible and keep close contact through calls/texts/and memes.
Najia
Bridesmaid
Sam met Najia in Saudi Arabia on the bus to Dhahran Academy. Sam and Najia enjoyed going to the mall and having themed nights, including Bollywood movie extravaganzas and making food. They also travelled to the Philippines together as a part of Habitat for Humanity to build houses. More recently, they travelled to Japan together where they visited Kyoto, Nagoya, and Tokyo! Najia currently lives in Humble, Texas with her husband Mustafa and they are expecting their first child in July!
