Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Samantha Nappie and Steven Strauss
Look, we can almost see the venue from here! This is actually a picture of Mt. Minsi from across the Delaware Water Gap atop Mt. Tammany. It is one of our favorite hikes in the area and if you are in the area for the weekend, I highly suggest. We have collected some of our other favorite things to do below, so you can get the most out of your visit. (Head's up, many of these suggestions are FOOD!)

Stroudsmoor Country Inn

257 Stroudsmoor Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360
, (570) 421-6431

Come to our wedding! Aside from this, Stroudsmoor Inn does a pretty great Sunday Brunch if that is something you are into. Plus, I want the address burned into your brains - you can even see it on the map above.

Little Angel's Cafe & Catering

901 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360
, (570) 424-8810

To say this is one of our favorite places to eat for breakfast or lunch is an understatement. Angel is a friend, and her food is amazing.

Barley Creek Brewing Company

1774 Sullivan Trail, Tannersville, PA 18372
, (570) 629-9399

Such a great place to hang out on the weekends. They have a great outdoor space in the summertime with outdoor games and a full bar. I highly suggest for a fun, casual hangout.

Mount Tammany

Knowlton Township, NJ 07832

Take the first exit off Rt. 80 after you get into New Jersey. It comes up quick. Just trust us.

Mount Airy Casino Resort

312 Woodland Road, Mount Pocono, PA 18344
, (877) 682-4791

Maybe you always wondered what it would be like to lose your hard-earned money in a matter of minutes? The casino is a big draw for visitors to the Poconos. Not only as a venue for the summer concert series, but for the gambling and restaurants. Try your luck one night while in town.

Camelback Mountain Adventures

243 Resort Drive, Tannersville, PA 18372
, (570) 629-1663

Camelback is a resort that has all sorts of things you could do. In the winter it is primarily a ski resort (not helpful, I realize), but in the summer it becomes a waterpark with a mountain adventure park (like ziplining, etc.). Or you could just take a drive to the top of the mountain to take in the views of the Poconos and maybe stroll along some of the trails. If you are in the mood to spend money, hit the crossings at the base of Camelback Mountain and shop the sales at the outlet stores.

For all the days along the way
