Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway Bangor
If you wanted to see the place where Stafford and I met (in dealer class), and worked at until we started living in the camper, go check out the casino! They have a few table games, and plenty of slots! Our first apartment together was 1 minute from the casino, conveniently located in Bangor!
Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant
Stafford and I share our favorite chinese restaurant! We both strongly recommend! They are located on the same road as our wedding venue!
Dysart's Restaurant & Truck Stop
Stafford and I, and our friends used to come here a lot after working the night shift (we would get out at 3am), and always enjoyed our food and service! Fish and chips or chicken fingers were our go to! Their rolls are very tasty! You could even get a souvenir in the store which is in the same building!! It's about a 20 minute drive from the venue!
Acadia National Park
Acadia National Park is definitely a beautiful place to check out while you're in Maine. It's about an hour drive from the venue. There are a ton of fantastic views whether you hike up, drive, or walk along some water! Cadillac Mountain is the best spot to see the sunrise because it's the highest spot on the east coastline in the U.S.!! You can drive OR hike up! Beehive and Precipe are more challenging including iron rungs! Thunder Hole is popular, too! If you go at the right time of day, the water sounds like thunder!
Mount Katahdin
If you wanted to check out the insanely gorgeous mountain that Stafford proposed to me on, you could drive about 2 hours and see it's beauty!! It's a 10ish hour hike if you wanted to make it to the summit and back!!
