Their story began at Ironworks Health Club in Huntsville, Texas. Sam was a student at Sam Houston State University, and Miller was living in the area at the time. After noticing him for a few weeks, Sam took a leap of faith and followed Miller on Instagram. He soon messaged her, and just a few days later, they had their first date at City Hall Cafe. Their next adventure took them hiking through the beautiful Sam Houston National Forest. From that moment on, Miller became Sam’s constant gym partner and it was clear that God had led her to him at exactly the right time. Fun fact: Sam and Miller are both Libras, which means they’re emotional, sensitive, and hilariously indecisive—making date night decisions a bit of a challenge! But more importantly, they have always had each other’s backs. They've supported one another through life’s toughest moments, and Sam has always been in Miller’s corner, especially when it comes to his career. In November 2023, Sam experienced the heartbreaking loss of her father to cancer—the most difficult time in her life. During her father’s final months, Miller was away in Quantico, Virginia, for work training. Despite the distance and the demands of his career, Miller was there for Sam every single day—offering his unwavering support, strength, and love. They say you know someone is “the one” when they stand by you through your darkest times and when you’re at absolute rock bottom. Miller was that person for Sam, proving that their love can truly withstand anything. Sam plans to honor her father in many quiet, meaningful ways on this special day. Out of respect for her emotions, she kindly asks that guests not dwell on the obvious—though she promises that her father will be in her thoughts every single moment of the night.
