Luke is 22 years old and from San Diego, CA. He graduated from Baylor in August with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is working at VanTran in Waco now and loves spending time with his bride-to-be looking up pictures of puppies!
Samantha Kail
Bride
Samantha, or Sam, is from Midland, TX. She went to Baylor in 2013 and has not been able to leave. She is currently studying at Truett Seminary to get her Master's of Divinity. She also works at First Baptist Woodway as the Preschool Coordinator. She cannot wait to get married to Luke!
Allison Schmitz
Maid of Honor
Allison and Sam met their freshman year at Baylor through YMT (Youth Ministry Teams) and later became roommates and best friends. She is married to Robert Schmitz as of last August and now lives in Dallas. She is studying Biblical counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. Allison frequents Chic-Fil-A and loves her record player!
Jake Bronson
Best Man
Jake met Luke after Luke was regretfully taken from the movie theatre in order to meet him (Luke is Jake's older brother). Jake goes to Texas A&M, is in the corps, and studies International Studies. Fun Fact: Jake saved Luke's life by giving him his breath 30ft underwater when they were in Junior High.
Moriah Abbott
Bridesmaid
Moriah and Sam met through her husband and Luke their Senior year at Baylor. They instantly hit it off and could not believe they did not know each other sooner! Moriah is married to Andrew Abbott as of last May and live in Fort Worth with their dog, Poncho. Moriah and Andrew are masters at Escape Rooms and will always let you crash at their place!
Rebecca MacNair
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Sam became close friends while serving as officers together in their sorority, Sigma Phi Lambda, at Baylor. She is currently working for Hilton as a Development Coach in Dallas and in May 2018 she graduated with a degree in Marketing. Rebecca has a contagious laugh and is wise beyond her years!
Karli Selz
Bridesmaid
Karli and Sam met in undergrad at Baylor, but really became friends at Truett Seminary where they are pursuing their Master's of Divinity. Karli is currently working at First Baptist Waco and was a leader at CentriKid Camps this past summer. She loves to have fun and go on road trips! Karli is so encouraging to be with!
Andrew Abbott
Groomsman
Andrew met Luke about 4 years ago when they both joined BYX. Since then, they were roommates and have stayed in touch after he graduated and moved to Fort Worth for work. Fun Fact: Andrew loves giving fun facts, but he's been told by some (Luke included) to let other people tell him his facts are fun.
Robert Schmitz
Groomsman
Robert Schmitz met Luke when Luke joined Brothers Under Christ at Baylor. Given their mutual Mechanical Engineering background, they quickly bonded over the difficulty of mixing scholastic achievement with social success. Robert and Allison live and work in Dallas now.
Chandler Brown
Groomsman
Chandler met Luke through their fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi, in the spring of 2016. A fun fact about Luke is that he is always down for a good meal and some of my favorite memories with him revolve around us sharing a meal together. As for Chandler and what he's up to, He is currently living in the Dallas area!
