The wedding may be in Abilene, but Sweetwater is home! Make the short trip east and visit the site of Samantha's campaign kickoff event (and other famed caterings by KC) and the couple's favorite local bookstore! They also have delicious coffee, beer, and wine.
National Wasp WWII Museum
Newly remodeled! This museum showcases an important part of American history and is one of Samantha's favorite places.
Center For Contemporary Arts
Take the opportunity to visit the site of KC and Samantha's first date and enjoy the talents of local artists.
The Leaf
KC's favorite place! Stop in on Sunday and thank them for covering KC's weekend shift.
Play Faire Park
Play a round (or two) of mini-golf where Samantha first kissed KC and KC planned the perfect, surprise proposal! It is cash or check only and BYOB.
Monks Coffee Shop
There are many wonderful, locally owned coffee shops in Abilene...but, Samantha loves this one best!
Grain Theory
You'll have an opportunity to sample delicious craft beer at the wedding reception, but Chef Rob's fish and chips (and other delicious food options) makes it worth a stop by this brewery too.

You may meet the love of your life here (and she may not remember it), but you'll DEFINITELY eat delicious pizza, find the best wine selection in Abilene, and be greeted by friendly people.
