Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have any formal housing recommendations. There are numerous hotels, Airbnb's, and rental homes to choose from along the towns of the Outer Banks. For our guests unfamiliar with the area, we are happy to help in the search for a place to stay while you celebrate with us.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 11AM. We will begin receiving guests at 10:30AM.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from using their phones during our ceremony. A photographer will be present to capture the moment. During the rest of the celebrations, we welcome guests to take pictures and share them with us!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the ceremony and reception hosted in the Gardens, we ask that guests attend in colorful cocktail attire. We will be hosting an after-party in the evening, and we invite guests to change into more comfortable casual and beach attire should they wish.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know in advance of any allergies or dietary restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We will have a large tent to provide shelter in case of rain. Given the spontaneous nature of weather in the Outer Banks, calls for severe weather will be handled on a case-by-case basis and direct communication with guests will follow.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony? What about the evening celebration in Duck?

Answer

There is ample parking at the Gardens for the ceremony and reception. The evening celebration will be hosted in a house with limited parking. Please contact Sam directly for further instruction regarding parking in the evening.
