It all started at 2am when Island Family arrived in Gainesville after driving for 5.5 hours from Auburn, AL. After a full day in vet school clinics and hours of driving, all of us were held together by adrenaline and the promise of frozen pizza and drinks. The roar of the reunion awoke John from his upstairs bedroom as he made his way into the kitchen to see what the commotion was. A drink, flopped pizza and a sneaky Erin plan later, the ground work was laid for the beginning of our future.
