Poo Poo Point Trailhead
This is one of our favorite trails to hike as we can walk to the trailhead from our house. There are amazing views on sunny days, including seeing Mount Rainier!
Issaquah Farmers Market
Our regular Saturday farmers market- tons of delicious food, fun environment if you're looking for something to do before heading over to our wedding!!

Mount Rainier National Park
A long day trip but definitely worth it to see Mt. Rainier in all her glory! There are tons of great lodging and camping options in the area if you want to make a bigger side trip out of it after our wedding! September is a busy time to visit, but you are guaranteed to get some good views and incredible hikes.
Village Theatre
Catch a super awesome local play right on front street in Issaquah!
Confluence Park
Our favorite local park- we actually had our second date here collecting river rocks to paint. We walk this park together very regularly. You can stroll down to the river, lay under a big tree, have a picnic or play on the play structures.
Lake Sammamish State Park
A family friendly beach park- you can rent paddle boards and kayaks here too. Good place to cool off on a hot day- although it does get very busy!
Woodinville Wine Country
Lots of Wineries to visit in Woodinville!
Gilman Village
A fun shopping center with lots of eclectic shops and great places for coffee and other meals. We love our morning dates at Issaquah Coffee Company!
Seattle Center
If you want to take a trip into Seattle- the Seattle Center is home to the Space Needle and other great tourist activities like the incredible Chihuly Glass Art Museum.
Pike Place Market
A classic Seattle tourist destination. You can walk down to the pier waterfront and ride the huge Ferris wheel!
Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead
A popular family friendly hike - gets very busy on the weekends.
Granite Mountain Trailhead
If you want a difficult, long, definitely not family friendly hike that isn't too far away- this is it! Incredible views at the top, beautiful meadows, might be some lingering wildflowers this time of year.
Mt. Si Trailhead
A wonderful hike near by in North Bend. Check out North Bend downtown for some cute stops while you are there!
Alki Beach
Take the Seattle Water Taxi to Alki Beach for a beautiful beach day, boardwalk and lots of good food options.
