This is one of our favorite trails to hike as we can walk to the trailhead from our house. There are amazing views on sunny days, including seeing Mount Rainier!

A long day trip but definitely worth it to see Mt. Rainier in all her glory! There are tons of great lodging and camping options in the area if you want to make a bigger side trip out of it after our wedding! September is a busy time to visit, but you are guaranteed to get some good views and incredible hikes.

Our favorite local park- we actually had our second date here collecting river rocks to paint. We walk this park together very regularly. You can stroll down to the river, lay under a big tree, have a picnic or play on the play structures.
