Dean and Sam met in Grand Rapids, Michigan just after Sam graduated college. Their first date was August of 2021 at City Built Brewery. On their fourth date, Sam was introduced to Dean's dog, Bear, which was the true test of whether or not the relationship would be long term. Lucky for them, Bear liked Sam just as much as Dean did! After a few weeks of seeing each other, they were inseparable. Fast forward to June of 2023, Dean accepted a job in Green Bay and so the long distance began. Sam continued to work at the law firm in Grand Rapids and Dean started his new job at Delta in Green Bay. They learned the distance between the two of them was inconsequential when you are truly meant to be together. Their love for each other only grew stronger. On a snowy night in January of 2024, when Dean was visiting Sam, he took her on a walk and popped the question in the very same place their story began!
