We met in Fall 2021, having both moved to Austin to enroll in the full-time MBA program at the University of Texas. One Friday early in the semester, Daniel had organized a Jewish MBA happy hour at Easy Tiger Beer Garden in East Austin, and we bar hopped into the night, ending on Rainey Street in the now-shuttered Container Bar. It was 2am and I was going to take a Lime scooter home, but Daniel insisted on paying for my $50 Uber. The next day, we met up at a Longhorn tailgate and the rest was history! Since then, we've graduated and started our post-MBA careers, moved away from and back to Austin, traveled to 4 continents + 11 countries (including 4 weeks in Southeast Asia), taken several ski vacations, gotten a couple regrettable tattoos, attended 5 years of the Austin City Limits music festival (on top of dozens of other concerts), and had the privilege of witnessing many of our close friends get married--some of whom also met in the MBA program. On November 1, 2025, Daniel proposed in Dripping Springs, TX in the restaurant where we had celebrated my 30th birthday. We look forward to returning to Dripping Springs this December to celebrate our commitment with our friends, family, and loved ones.
