What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Formal attire. The wedding colors are jewel tones with fun pops of color. Bold patterns and vibrant hues are encouraged but not required. Most importantly, have fun with it!

Will There be Cell Phone Reception?

Answer

There is no cell phone reception at Full Moon Resort. You will start to lose cell service 20 minutes from the resort. Complimentary phone service for all calls within the U.S. is available at the Inn. Complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the facility, no passwords required. Most cell phones have Wi-Fi calling capability or there are apps tha tyou can download for calling and messaging purposes. We will be sending out text blast day of with any important information needed. all times at the Inn. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the facility, no passwords required. What Does Full Moon Provide For Their Guests?

Answer

Full moon is a rustic lodging facility, not a hotel, but it's quaint, clean, and provides:  Bath towels  Bed linens  Shampoo, conditioner and bar soap  Complimentary teas and coffee in the Valley View House (Main Inn) from the time breakfast is served until the last meal of the day is served  Complimentary Wireless Internet  Free long-distance phone service from the Valley View House. Please note: cell phones do not work at Full Moon – There are no cell phone towers in this part of the Forest Preserve Housekeeping services are not provided during the course of the stay. Extra towels may be obtained from the Front Desk as needed.

How do I book a room?

Answer

When formal invites are sent out, you will be asked to fill out RSVP accomodation preferences, the wedding couple will then assign the guest rooms and Full Moon Resort will contact guests to confirm their room placement. A personal link will then be provided to book. You will be contacted around 9/26/26. **Guests do not need to contact Full Moon Resort in advance. ** If not assigned to on site, or you choose to stay off site please see other hotel accommodations on Travel page.

What Should I bring?

Answer

Bring your dancing shoes, your best outfit for the ceremony/reception and some comfy clothes for night time. It gets cold up in the mountains! The wedding location, Full Moon Resort, is nestled in the rustic Catskill Mountains. Full Moon has hiking trails nearby, a 6 hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields on the grounds. If you’re interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you. Games are encouraged (hiking boots, sneakers, Frisbee, sports gear, bocce ball set, etc.) Also, the evenings can be chilly, so bring a warm jacket or sweater. Bathrobe/slippers (some guest rooms have shared/hall baths) Toiletries/medicine; the Front Desk has emergency and basic medical equipment (bandaids, tylenol, etc) - nearest pharmacy is approximately 20 minutes from Full Moon. Bug spray Flashlight or headlamp (It gets dark in the country) Umbrella or raincoat (just in case) Bathing Suit if you are feeling risky and want to use the outdoor heated pool & hot tub!

Can we bring our children?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this is an adults only event. Take the night off and relax :)

Will there be a shuttle service provided?

Answer

All weekend festivities will be held on site. Everything on the grounds is walking distance, but a golf cart/shuttle will be provided for those who need help walking farther distances. As of now, there will be no shuttle service to off site accomodations. However, if there is a large overflow of people needing to stay off site a room block with shuttle may be provided at later date closer to the wedding.

What Food & Beverages are available during my stay?

Answer

The bride and groom will be hosting a welcome BBQ on Friday and a cocktail hour, reception and late night munchies on Saturday. Breakfast and lunch will also be served on site. This is part of your accommodations all inclusive price. Times can be found on the schedule page. There are also welcome services available in the café (basement area of the inn), however we encourage our guests to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for those times that there will be no services available. The closest store is about 20 minutes away.

Can I Bring My Own Alcohol?

Answer

Personal-stock alcoholic beverages are allowed in your private rooms, but not allowed in public areas due to State Liquor Laws. A cooler stocked with beverages will be available to access in the Billairds room 24/7. But don't worry most of the weekend drinking is on us.

Where Can I Smoke?

Answer

All buildings are non-smoking. However, feel free to take a nice walk away from the crowd and smoke if you have to. In addition, please do not light candles, incense, or any combustible materials in guest rooms. Vaping is not allowed inside the Barn, Pavilion or Roadhouse. Please vape outside.

What Happens If I Lose Something While At Full Moon?

Answer

Personal belongings must be removed from the facility at check out. Full Moon cannot accept responsibility for belongings left behind.
