Colorado mountain summers are mild, with highs in the low 80s and low humidity. Our ceremony will be outside and in the shade, the cocktail hour will be hybrid inside/outside, and the reception will be inside. Wear whatever you're comfortable in under these conditions.
Our venue is located at 9,000ft above sea level. We strongly recommend aggressively hydrating in the days leading up to your travel plans in order to avoid headaches, fatigue, light-headedness and nausea. Local convenience stores also provide supplementary oxygen cannisters to help reduce symptoms of altitude sickness. Please also note that alcoholic beverages have a stronger effect at this elevation, so plan accordingly.
1. The Silverthorne Pavilion has a strict policy regarding outside beverages. We will have coffee, water, tea, lemonade, and an open bar with soft drinks, wine, beer, and liquor. 2. While dogs are allowed at the outdoor areas of our venue, and our dog, Mac, will be present, we ask that you leave your fur children at home to prevent unnecessary stress on him and his handlers. 3. Cigarettes and cigars can be enjoyed on the patio, but marijuana and related products are not allowed anywhere on the property.
We will be serving a buffet-style meal with two main course options (pork and chicken). Our caterer also has a special option for gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan diets. When you RSVP, please indicate if you have a preference for these or another dietary option and we will make all efforts to make sure your belly is full.
