Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 2:30 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive by 2:00 PM to allow time to get settled before we start.

Are there any other events that I should know about?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a welcome party at the Woodstock Brewhouse from 5:30pm-8:30pm, all are welcome!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love children, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. The only little ones attending will be our direct nieces and nephews.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would ask that you only bring a guest if it was indicated on your invitation, thank you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is not a black-tie event, but have fun with it! Cocktail to Semi-Formal attire is encouraged, whatever makes you feel amazing :) (P.S. The venue is quite rustic with little to no pavement or sidewalks, please choose your footwear accordingly.

What should I bring?

Answer

It'll be a proper Virginia-summer wedding, so we'd recommend bringing sunscreen and bug spray!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking at the venue. There will not be any shuttles running to local hotels, please drive safely and have a designated driver if needed.

What food will be provided at the reception?

Answer

Yes! we will have snacks during cocktail hour, then a full dinner.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Look up Caroline Furnace Camp and Retreat Center on Google Or Apple Maps. 2239 Camp Roosevelt Rd. Fort Valley, VA. Please note that GPS will want to take you to the main Summer camp entrance on Moreland Gap Rd. This is not where you want to go. Follow the posted signs to the “office” entrance off camp Roosevelt Rd and park in the field near the farmhouse on the right once you pass the office.
