In 2016, Samantha had just graduated college and started her first job in NYC. Being busy with work and spending countless hours on the train traveling, she downloaded the app Bumble. Little did she know, Anthony had done the same thing. Anthony had just started a new job and was going into his slow season. Anthony wasn't looking for anything serious, but as we all know, that is the last thing you say before meeting your match. Samantha and Anthony matched at the end of November in 2016. Within a week of talking, they decided to meet. For those of you that know Sam, it was no surprise she had off on a Thursday for a dentist appointment and thought of killing two birds with one stone. For those who know Anthony, of course he had no work on a Thursday, so they met for coffee at the Babylon bean. They spoke for hours with a few surprises. The first was when Sam noticed Anthony had a mohauk. The second was when Anthony realized Samantha couldn't stand the sport Baseball. And finally, after three hours of talking, they parted ways. A few hours later, while recounting the date with her Mom and sisters, Samantha received a text from Anthony. He had asked her to go on a real date the following night. After agreeing to see where this would go, Anthony said he would find the perfect first date spot. On December 1st, since Anthony did not know of a single Italian restaurant on Long Island, he drove Samantha into Queens for a dinner at Il Nocello. Since that first dinner date, Samantha and Anthony have celebrated that night for the last 4 years together. On January 20th, 2017, Anthony asked Samantha to be his girlfriend. On December 31st, 2020, to end one of the craziest years of both their lives, Anthony asked for Samantha's hand in marriage. On November 4th, 2022, they are excited to ask all their friends and family to join them in celebrating their love and the funny memories they have shared thus far. They cannot wait for the future and what is still yet to come!
