Maid of Honor
We met while working at Sally Beauty Supply, and we just clicked! We've caused all kinds of chaos since 2015, including a fire in the Sally Beauty, creepily stalking dozens of people on Facebook (and sometimes in person), but mostly chilling and eating food. We continued to work together at Plato Woodwork, and we both called in so she could be a support person during Carson's labor and delivery. She even got to wear the "dad" bracelet and got called a man. She is the supporter of my reckless behavior and would go to bat for me at a moment's notice, no questions asked.
Best Man
Tyler and Aaron grew up living close by each other and saw each other regularly. Being cousins, they would also hang out at family functions growing up. Tyler and Aaron became as close as they are now while working together. We started seeing more and more of Tyler as we planned outings and times to hang out. Our kids adore him, and he has been a level head in rough times when we have looked to him for support. Tyler, his girlfriend Sarah, and their baby Morgan, have become a major part of our lives very quickly, and their support on our wedding day is greatly cherished.
Maid of Honor
Brianna and I met while working at Dairy Queen in 2014. She was already close with Aaron from his time working there, and we also just clicked after she returned from maternity leave. She is my travel buddy, the one always down for an adventure, and the one who supports my "treat yourself" days. We've gone on so many day trips to the mall, waterfalls, the North Shores, and any other fun outings we can find on a whim. She is a higher level of "mom" than me, so she's always opening things that I can't open. Brianna also was a support person for Carson's labor and delivery, so you can say she also knows me quite well. She absolutely has remained one of both mine and Aaron's best friends.
Groomsman
Alex has always been one of our biggest supporters and cheerleaders. He is always letting us know how well we go together, and how important we are to him. He's great with the kids and is a genuinely good person. He was no doubt going to be a part of our special day.
Mother of the Bride
My momma is my other go-to adventure buddy. She is always down for spur-of-the-moment adventures, especially if they're outdoors or with the kids. We send each other endless TikTok videos and memes, and always have a great time together.
Father of the Bride
My dad has always been one of my biggest supporters in everything I do. He's so much fun and is always the person I go to if I need advice or need to know how to do something. I have endless memories of trips and other adventures near and far, and can't wait for even more.
Mother of the Groom
Jess has always been another one of our biggest cheerleaders. She welcomed me into the family long before we were married and has been a huge part of so many fun memories. We've danced at weddings, played volleyball, visited while they were camping, travelled across the country, and endless other adventures over the years. Aaron appreciates her support in all of his endeavors throughout his life, and how she always lets him find things out for himself and helped him back up if those choices didn't go as planned.
Father of the Groom
The appreciation that Aaron has for Ron and his role in his life is immeasurable. He has been there in every way, every time he is needed. Even during the difficult teenager phase, he never faltered in his ways, and has left a lasting impact on Aaron and his siblings. His choosing to step up and raise Aaron in such a way is why us taking his last name as well was important to us. On our wedding day, we were almost most excited to tell him about taking his name as we were to finally be married. He is also Sam's favorite person to attend events with.
Mother of the Bride
Kathleen has been a huge part of the wedding planning and ideas, and a huge advocate for us doing what we wish for our special days. I love going to hang out with her and talk about anything and everything, especially since I am no longer living at home. It is great to go back and just chill or have fun camping with my momma.
Father of the Bride
Howard has always been the biggest supporter of the adventures I steal mom to go on. He's the first to ask when we're leaving and has great ideas for trips and excursions! His knowledge and life experiences have helped us in many ways over the years, and we appreciate the journey we've had with him and the kids ("do you ever just.... feed him maple syrup?")
Flower Girl
Chloe has been such a formational person in our lives since she was born. We were 17 and 18 when her mom called me to ask me to tell Aaron she had been born a few months early. Since then, she has changed our lives and helped us to learn and grow, both as young adults and as parents. She is so much fun, has so much sass, and has really dealt with all the ups and downs of being the first child in a young family. I am so honored to have been in her life since she was born and watching her grow has been amazing. I can't wait to see what she does next.
Ring Bearer
Carson greatly succeeds in giving us a run for our money as parents. He is incredibly smart and learns new things every day. He makes up phrases (he likes to call people butt ass), and he's always willing to help with his baby brother, "I'll be here if ya need me, momma!"
Ring Bearer
Emmett is the perfect final addition to our family. He is sweet, spunky, and filled with loads of personality in that tiny body.
