There will be ONE mini bus that departs the Omni Royal Orleans promptly at 5:20PM. There is limited seating and it's first come first serve. If you miss it, don't worry about it. The Marche is a quick Uber/Lyft or walk from the Hotel!
We love children and plan on having kids ourselves but this is an adult only weekend for us. We suggest visiting Sittercity.com to find a babysitter. Sam had a profile on this site as a nanny /babysitter for many years. Be sure to vet anyone you hire.
Uber and Lyft are available in the city. Taxis are all over the city as well. Zac's favorite service is United cab (504-522-9771)
We want everyone to have a good time but we recommend not going onto Bourbon Street after 10pm unless in a big group. Just like anywhere, be aware of your surroundings.
It does not have its own parking lot but we have arranged for a discounted rate at Premium Parking Lot #407. The discount code is VEE6 and your parking will be complimentary.
We are doing a second line!! A second line is a walking parade led by a brass band, followed by the bride and groom, wedding party, and guests. It's a fun New Orleans tradition that signifies the beginning of a new life together. Please bring comfortable walking shoes. Our route will be a large loop totaling . 8 miles from our venue through the French Quarter streets and back to our venue. Sam plans on changing into cowboy boots for the second line and back into heels for the reception. If you prefer to not second line, you may wait in the first floor waiting area of the venue until we return.
