Welcome to Sam and Zac's Wedding Site

It was a dark time for the world as we entered year 2 of the COVID era. A young Zac Tanenbaum was recovering from his battle with COVID. He had to miss a pal's bachelor party and because of this he had a free flight. His pals, the Zuckermans, were throwing their annual Hoedown with the infamous Western Express led by Phil Brush (another friend of Zac's) playing. Zac decided to head to Dallas to see his friends and his family (Corbin and Lindsay). Meanwhile, Sam was busy juggling work at Children's Hospital and raising her dog, Laila. She got an email about the Zuckerman Hoedown from her oldest friend Sophie Levy Zuckerman. Sam looked at the invite list and saw only one single guy on the list. Who was this mystery man? Fast forward to the party.... Sam walks in and notices three people hanging by the band, jamming out to a classic Western Express tune. Sam walked up and asked if she could hang with them as everyone else at the party was busy with their 2 and 3 year old children. It was at this moment that Zac and Sam met. They spent the next couple hours talking and laughing. Sam got up to use the restroom and Zac turned to his brother Corbin and sister-in law Lindsay and said "this girl is awesome, i think im going to invite her to come out with us." Lindsay immediately said, "you have too!" So Zac invited Sam to come out with the crew that night and as the kids say, the rest is history.

Zac decided he wanted to surprise Sam with the proposal. Sam mentioned she wanted Zac to be in a suit because he looked like a cross between George Clooney (circa 1995) and Sean Connery in James Bond. Zac decided to draw inspiration from how his father proposed to his mother outside of Charity Hospital. The week leading up to the proposal, Zac kept asking Sam what she was doing on Friday night. He asked if she would want to watch a movie through zoom on Amazon or Netflix. Sam is a junior detective so he had to get her off the scent. Sam told all her friends that she thought she was going to be proposed to that night. Little did she know, she would get the surprise of her life. Zac flew into Love Field Airport that Friday morning and was picked up by his brother Corbin. They went to get flowers and then went to Children's Hospital. Zac went to the front desk and asked if he could go by to surprise his girlfriend with a proposal. The front desk said he could not just walk in without a guest pass. So he got the front desk to call Sam and let her know there was a patient with an emergency. Sam was busy at the time and got a little frustrated that her patient wasn't sent to the ER if it was an emergency. She was texting Zac while coming down the elevator about how annoyed she was (rightfully so since she is a busy girl). When Sam got down, she went to the front desk to ask where the emergency was. The person at the desk pointed behind her, and that is where Zac was on one knee. Emotions getting the better of Zac was only able to get out the words "you wanna do this?" To which Sam said yes. That is when everyone in the lobby gave a round of applause and a beam of light formed in the shape of a heart around them. Corbin was too nervous so his video footage was shaky but luckily a random bystander filmed the whole proposal. Zac and Sam flew to New Orleans the next day to celebrate and 4 days later closed on their house.
