Please RSVP by April 15th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Unless specifically indicated on the envelope and noted in the RSVP on the website, we are unfortunately not able to allow + ones due to limited capacity. Please reach out if you have concerns.
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Please do your best to find a babysitter for that night. We'd love everyone to feel like they can let loose and enjoy the party!
Welcome to Oregon, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny, especially in May. During the day, the weather in Oregon should be beautiful, averaging 70 degrees, but will get chilly at night. We will be inside for the reception, but please bring layers if you'll feel more comfortable. Please note that COVID regulations may require some/all tables to be outside for the reception as well, so please prepare accordingly.
There is free parking at the venue and parking attendants to help. However if you will be imbibing, we encourage you to either stay out in Newberg, McMinnville or Carlton, or take an Uber/Lyft home. Lyft & Uber are available in the area, but it can take 15 minutes or so to get up to the venue from the downtown, so keep in mind when ordering. If you'd like to leave your car, please just come retrieve it in the morning.
It's cocktail attire! So dress to impress as you wish, just be sure you're comfortable in what you're wearing to dance the night away.
For all the ladies out there, if you'd like to wear stiletto heels - you should be fine on the grass lawn (turf) and the inside arena. The property; however, is beautiful and if you'd like to explore the views, check out the toolshed, enjoy the fire pit and wonder the grounds to see any of the barnyard animals, then please consider more comfortable heels or shoes to wear on gravel and grass. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the space without ruining shoes or breaking any ankles.
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share with us on Instagram using the hashtag #BecomingBarnett. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
In addition to some passed tapas, we are serving paella! There will be a seafood & chicken option as well as a vegetarian option. And it's all gluten free! We'll also serve salad and bread, and of course cake later in the night!
We are taking COVID regulations day-by-day and while we are not sure what late May yet looks like, we are hopeful that the vaccine will be available to a majority of people by then and do encourage our guests to become vaccinated when able. We may have to make some tough decisions closer to the date to cut our guest list, but do not yet feel ready to make that call officially. Please reach out to us if you have concerns and would like to know more about how we are creating a safe, healthy space for our guests. If you would prefer not to travel regardless in May, we do understand and perhaps there is a solution to still have you participate virtually, if you'd like. Let us know.
