We're Getting Married!!

What was thought to be a typical wine tasting Saturday, turned into a day never to forget. Sam wanted to take Tara's brother and his wife out to the vineyard where he grew up, so they decided to make a day of wine tasting - which they often do. Tara and Sam are wine club members at Youngberg Hill, where Sam grew up, and not only enjoy drinking their wine, but love touring the grounds as it reminds Sam of his days at the farm and showing guests to their room at the bed & breakfast. After tasting the flight, they decided to walk out to the viewpoint with the last taste to get a couple photos, while Sam went to the car to let their dog Walter out (which was a bit suspicious since he doesn't normally come wine tasting.. :) On a beautiful, warm day in the dead of winter, Tara was taking a photo of her brother and sister in law, admiring the breathtaking view and sun shining down, when Sam came up from behind with Walter, who had a sign around his neck that read "Will You Marry Me" - and he proposed. Words were said, tears were had, a knee dropped, kisses came next, and a bottle of champagne was popped! They made their way to the next winery in celebration and Tara began to text her friends to share the news. Although, not many responded right away. They decided to stop in real quick to their favorite tasting room, Et Fille, before heading back. Completely unaware and totally shocked, Tara walks in the door and a huge group of their friends are there to celebrate with them - they just walked into a surprise engagement party! All those friends who were slow to respond earlier were there to celebrate in person and it was perfect!
