Sam and Sydney met via the dating app, Hinge, in 2022. After matching with each other, they met up the following weekend for ice cream and a walk around Tempe Town Lake. When getting ice cream, Sydney ordered first, getting two scoops of ice cream, Sam then ordered only ONE scoop, how dare he??? To this day, he claims that he only ordered one scoop because he was too nervous, unbelievable. After eating the ice cream and chatting, they went for a walk around the lake. Before parting ways for the evening, Sam invited Sydney to go to a Sun's basketball game the next evening. They went to the game the next night and went on another date a couple days later to Serrano's, their now favorite Mexican restaurant. After this third date, they decided they didn't want to see other people and here they are now getting married!!!
