Bridesmaid
Carly and Sam met in 8th grade. While they may have hated each other that year, they were able to move past it and become best friends! Carly moved to NYC first, and Sam joined her there a few years later after college. The past 7 years have been filled with sleepovers, book clubs, vacations, and more. It was Carly who talked Sam into giving a long distance relationship with Ryan a chance - and thank god she did!
Groomsman
Declan and Ryan met at Notre Dame, initially connecting over finance career ambitions before becoming best friends in college and both moving to Manhattan. They explored NYC together during their 20s while working in finance and remained close as Ryan left the finance world behind (twice!) to pursue poker in CA and FL. Declan was instrumental in Ryan and Sam's matchmaking, starting with the infamous first picture together of Ryan fake "proposing" to Sam on the first day they met in-person.
Bridesmaid
Anna and Sam met in the hallowed halls of the Siddall Hall Dormitory at the University of Cincinnati where they both majored in Stage Management. After Freshman year, they lived together in The Duplex for 3 years with Kyle, Gus, and Jack where many a historic party was thrown. While Anna has since moved to Sweden, their bond remains as close as ever. Anna introduced Sam to the world of Monster Trucks and is always only a FaceTime away!
Groomsman
Luke and Ryan met growing up in Orange County, CA through Boy Scouts while at the same middle school. For almost two decades, Luke has been Ryan's intellectual sparring partner while pushing each other to think more rationally and avoid as many life pitfalls as possible. From bonding over their love of Christopher Hitchens to contemplating huge life decisions while at Strands Beach in Laguna, they've remained trusted friends while each bounce around the world.
Officiant
Brandon and Sam have been inseparable since high school. During the quarantine times, Sam bunkered down with the Kline family for a while and she (and subsequently Ryan) became a part of the family. Brandon was present for Ryan and Sam's first week together in NYC and "knew from the start it was meant to be", so who better to marry them! (He chose this picture)
