We hope you can enjoy a holiday as part of our nuptials. The Catalunya region has so much to offer!

Aiguadolç - Sitges Port

Paseo de las Drassanes, Sitges, CT 08870, Spain

We recommend a walk round to the Aiguadolç port during your stay in Sitges. It feels like you're in a completely different place. There are some lovely restaurants around the marina - many specialising in fresh fish. You can also hire boats from here.

Boat hire or catamaran sailing trips

If you want to explore the coast of Sitges from the water, there are many boat hire companies based in the Aiguadolç port. Navega sin Titulo is a reputable company that specialises in renting boats that people can drive without a license.

Caves Codorniu

CT 08770, Spain

If you want a wine/cava tour activity close to Sitges (Cava being Spain's answer to Prosecco/Champagne) . This is a large cava producer, probably the most famous. The building itself is impressive and the tour includes a train ride through the vast bodega.

Shopping in Sitges

Sitges has loads of independent shops selling clothes, jewellery, gifts, shoes and art. Unlike Barcelona - which has a Zara everywhere you turn - Sitges shopping streets are very quaint and varied. They are best explored in the early evening - because Sitges has quite a long siesta time during which many shops are shut from 2pm - 5pm. Carrer Major and Carrer Parellades are where most of the shops are.

Palau de Maricel

s/n Carrer de Fonollar, Sitges, CT 08870, Spain

The Maricel Palace is one of the most emblematic buildings in Sitges. Elegant on the outside and spectacular on the inside, boasting terraces with undulating rooftops and a cloister with panoramic views of the Mediterranean. It opens on Sundays.

Sagrada Família

Barcelona, CT, Spain

If you have time to visit Barcelona, don't just look at the Sagrada Familia from the outside. The inside is a completely serene experience. It is beautiful, surreal, colourful and well worth a visit. Antoni Gaudí’s architecture adorns the city and so you will find it without even trying - here are some other masterpieces: - Casa Battló: Pg. de Gràcia, 43. Metro: Passeig de Gracia. - Casa Mila: Pg. de Gracia, 92. Metro: Diagonal. - Parc Guell: Carrer d'Olot 3-5. Metro: Lesseps.

Mercat de la Boqueria

91 La Rambla, Barcelona, CT 08001, Spain

Prepare yourself for a sensory overload as you take in the incredible sights and smells of the wonderfully colourful and bustling Boqueria food market in Barcelona. The market is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe, containing a huge variety of basic foods and Catalan specialties. There are also small tapas bars within the market that serve the freshest food in the city.

Spotify Camp Nou

Barcelona, CT 08028, Spain

Camp Nou, is the home to one of international football’s biggest teams – Barcelona FC. Each day the stadium is open to the public with tours. The tours finish one hour before the museum closes. Metro: Maria Cristina

Shopping in Barcelona

The best shopping areas in central Barcelona are Passeig de Gracia and the streets to its southwest, including the Boulevard Rosa arcade just north of Carrer d'Arago, and Barri Gotic streets such as Carrer de la Portaferrissa, Carrer de la Boqueria, Carrer del Call, Carrer de la Llibreteria and Carrer de Ferran, and around Placa de Sant Josep Oriol.
