We are requiring that all attendees are vaccinated and encourage guests to take a COVID test before arriving. The majority of our wedding activities will take place outdoors, but the dance party will be in the well-ventilated Vintner's Barn. A limited number of COVD tests will be available onsite if needed.
We made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding so we can celebrate safely. Please save our new wedding date of July 16, 2022. We hope you will be able to join us!
We met the traditional way... online! Sam won over Mike with her first message, "How much do you think I paid for tickets to the Barry Bonds jersey retirement game?" Sam was shocked by Mike's unexpected (at the time) familiarity with the cost of tickets for a Giants game. Our first date was getting drinks at a wine bar in the Richmond, which quickly turned to dinner. From there, we connected over our love of Bay Area sports, dogs, and travel. Our relationship grew, and Lola and Solo bonded, through long walks in Mountain Lake Park.
Proposing during COVID can be tough! Mike decided to pop the question during a hike on one of our favorite trails just outside of Nashville. But when we got to the trail, it was closed due to the virus. Without panicking, and with the ring burning a hole in his pocket, Mike found a nearby greenway with a beautiful view overlooking the city. It was perfect; Mike got down on one knee while Lola rolled around in the grass and chewed sticks.
