FAQs

Question

COVID-19

Answer

Due to Provincial protocols, masks will be mandatory once indoors however once seated at the table you are permitted to remove your mask. The venue will also have Hand Sanitizer available. Great news, dancing is now permitted so have your dancing shoes ready!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Typical wedding attire i.e formal. Although I wouldn't be opposed to sweatpants later in the evening!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We've decided to make our wedding an Adults only event. So drop the kids off at the babysitter and come grab drinks, celebrate and of course dance the night away!

Question

We really want to get you a gift, what do you need?

Answer

We've lived together almost 3 years by the wedding date so it's safe to say we don't need much if anything at all! We ask that you do not bring gifts no matter how much you want to ;). Today is for celebrating and we just want you to be present with us on such a beautiful occasion. *Note: There will be a card box but please don't feel obligated to insert money. We like the idea of being able to read messages from our loved ones later on.*

Question

How does the bar work?

Answer

Wine will be available on the table and the bar will be open bar for a short period of time. Bring some cash with you for later on in the evening once the bar is turned to a Cash bar!

Question

But you got married in 2020, are you having a ceremony again?

Answer

Yes we did get legally married on July 17th (our plan was to do it on April 29th 2020 but you know, Covid). However, we opted not to do our personal vows so that we could save those to be shared with those we love most! Mark's sister, Christina, will be officiating our little ceremony where we will make our personal promises to each other. Which will then be followed by a reception, dinner, speeches and hopefully, dancing!
