When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 8th, 2023. You may choose to return your RSVP by mail or complete the RSVP directly through our website!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Midi to floor length dresses or dressy jumpsuits for ladies. Suits or dark jackets and slacks for gentlemen. Think garden party- lots of colorful prints and patterns are encouraged!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Melrose Knitting Mill, the location of both the ceremony and reception, has available parking directly along the side of the building. We encourage only those traveling in from out of town to utilize this parking lot, as spots may become limited. We recommend that those guests who are choosing to spend the weekend in Raleigh use Uber/Lyft for quick and convenient transportation to and from the venue.

Am I allowed to take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We would love for you to be fully present and in the moment with us! We are opting for an unplugged wedding ceremony so that guests are not distracted by their devices and our professional wedding photographers can capture all those special moments without the interference of other flashes or mobile screens.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly request that you refer to the name(s) specifically written on your wedding invitation. Our venue and vendors will only be able to accommodate those loved ones on our guest list.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We LOVE your little ones, however due to space restrictions we kindly ask that you make other arrangements for them that night. We would love for our wedding to be your night off! The names of each invited guest will be clearly written on your wedding invitations. We sincerely appreciate your understanding!

I have dietary restrictions/food allergies. What is the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please use the space provided on your mailed RSVP card to enclose any dietary restrictions or food allergies that you would like to make our venue aware of. Special vegetarian meals can be made upon request.
