We met in the winter of 2009 at a high school cotillion dance hosted at the Alamance County Country Club. We knew from the moment we were introduced by mutual friends, it would the beginning of something very special. After that dance we were inseparable- talking all day & night, walking each other to class, and finding any excuse to be together. Sam asked me to be his girlfriend on the night of his senior prom in April 2010, and the rest is history.

We took a trip to California to celebrate my recent graduation from PA school. Our first few days of the trip were spent on Venice Beach and exploring Los Angeles. We then took a road trip from Venice Beach to San Francisco with plans to make multiple stops along the way. What began with a lovely breakfast in Malibu ended with the most beautiful proposal along the Pacific Coast Highway. Best day ever!
