Handfasting
As part of our wedding, we'll be binding our hands together in a handfasting cord to represent the binding together of our lives. It would be very meaningful to us to include the blessings of our loved ones in that cord. If you'd like to participate, you can send us a note with any well wishes, advice, words of love, or other blessings you want to share with us as well as a piece of ribbon, yarn, or fabric to be braided into our handfasting cord. When we wrap the cord around our hands, it will then include the hopes and support of our community for our life together. We'll also be reading through your notes in private before the ceremony and look forward to being able to revisit those in the many years to come.
